A small town in Texas finds itself under attack from a hungry 50-foot-long giant Gila monster. No longer content to forage for food in the desert, the giant lizard begins by eating motorists and train passengers before descending on the town itself. Only Chase Winstead, a quick-thinking teenage mechanic, can save the town from being wiped out.
